About The Poethead Archive 2008-2021
A record of the work of the Poethead Website, which, established in 2008, addressed the lack of spaces available to women poets who wished to be published in and read beyond Ireland. The site grew exponentially during the thirteen-year period of its work. While captures and archives of the site can be found at The National Library of Ireland and will feature at UCD Special Collections, this project represents a personal approach to archiving the materials published onsite. The Poethead Archive 2008 - 2021 is a non-chronological record of some of the best features of Poethead that includes translated poetry, portable work, interconnected sites, visual archives, and the visual arts associated with the website. Archive navigation includes links to RASCAL (Research And Special Collections Available Locally at Queen's University Belfast) and Internet Archive.
